Christ’s Peace: A European Young Adult Focused Camp in Rome, Italy | July 8-15, 2022.   

Come join us on this journey as we discover what it truly means to be the disciple YOU are called to be in our time and how Christ’s peace can change our hurting world!

This Community of Christ camp will take place at the Rome campus of Duquesne University on the grounds of the convent of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth.  The location has comfortable accommodations with private ensuite bathrooms, air conditioning, wi-fi internet, pay laundry facilities and extensive garden space for recreation and meditation. 

Rome was home to an ancient Empire that sought a universal, coercive peace. Today it is a modern city and European Capital, while also being the faith hub for over 1 billion Roman Catholics around the world. This is a city that has sought the meaning of peace for millennia. The Young Adult Focused Camp will explore what it means to seek Christ’s Peace today through historical visits, scripture study, worship, and physical presence.  Let us walk together bringing to life the scriptures inspired by the Eternal City, as we embrace together the possibilities of the impact our own discipleship can have on the world we live in today!

This European Young Adult Focused Camp will take place July 8-12, with an optional add-on for some holiday time in Rome July 12-15, 2022.  Pricing and registration information will be available in April 2022.  Priority given to Young Adults but those who consider themselves young-at-heart are also welcome to attend this event.
